You step out of the air‑conditioned minivan onto pale sand where the Channel wind pushes at your coat and the surf seems to remember other arrivals. The low cliffs above Juno Beach give way to wide, rippled beaches — the same stretch Canadian troops fought to hold on 6 June 1944. Walks here alternate between quiet cemetery grounds, the solid geometry of memorials and the curated rooms of the Juno Beach Centre.
