About

Make the first hours of your day the best hours with this peaceful morning horse ride. You’ll be partnered with a horse just right for you, and your experienced wrangler will guide you through the high desert landscape, taking you to the gorgeous Juniper Overlook! From there, you’ll see miles and miles of scenic landscape, the Red Hollow canyon and the stark White Sands; look up and down the historic Long Valley as you soak up the morning sunshine.

Along the way you may encounter wildlife such as a mule deer, turkeys and birds, as well as enjoy the aromatic junipers and pinion pines, and the unique prickly pear and other wildflowers.

End the ride descending down the Overlook trail, as the sun lights up the towering sandstone cliffs surrounding the Juniper Overlook.

  • Please be sure to meet us in the Coffee Shop at the Sinclair in Orderville 20 minutes prior to your ride to meet your horse and get saddled up!
  • Remember to wear closed-toe shoes, and long pants.
  • Bring water
  • Saddle bags are provided to carry personal items.
