The first breath you take at the lip of Jomblang is cooler, wetter—the forest floor falling away into a vertical mouth that demands attention. A guided rope lowers you into an 80‑metre shaft; sunlight threads through the opening and paints the chamber known locally as 'Heaven’s Light.' Later the limestone gives way to slow water: Pindul’s river invites you to float, the current nudging your tube beneath low cave roofs and through shadowed pools.
