About This Adventure

Experience an unforgettable evening of live music aboard the historic Portage Princess on Portage Lakes. Enjoy performances by local artists Jim Ballard and Jon Mosey while cruising in a fully covered pontoon boat. This unique event promises fun rain or shine, making it a perfect summer outing.

Live entertainment by local performers Jim Ballard and Jon Mosey aboard a BIG pontoon boat on Portage Lakes. We will board the historic Portage Princess for departure from Old State Park. Departure is at 6pm on Thursday July 17, 2025 with a 30 minute break for restrooms and drinks, followed by the cruise back to the departure site between 8:30 and 9pm. The boat is fully covered so this will be held rain or shine, with the exception of thunderstorms. Tickets must be booked in advance.

If the boat gets SOLD OUT by July 10, (40 guests) – OVERFLOW TICKETS WILL BECOME AVAILABLE. Call 330-760-0270 to purchase seats aboard regular pontoon boats that will cruise with and rendezvous beside the Princess to hear the one-hour concert for only $30.00 per person
