Duration: Average 3 hours
The most spectacular cove in Ibiza.
This is our unique take on a classic route that follows a well-trodden northern path with deep forest on one side and astonishing sea views on the other. Descending to the water, we are met with a view of perhaps the most beautiful bay in all of Ibiza, a semi-circular jewel resembling a caldera. After swimming at this magnificent bay surrounded by fisherman’s huts, we continue to an extraordinary rock formation, a sheer, angular, geometrical wall that we can climb on foot, racing to the top for powerful, unobstructed sea views and an exhilarating sense of achievement.
The Hike Station Grading System: Beginner - Medium
Food & Beverages: Carrying ample drinking water is essential. There are no stores or other facilities along our trails. Fruit and energy bars are ideal for mid-way sustenance.
What to Bring: The Hike Station will provide for each person a small backpack. You should bring at least 1.5L of water per person, and snacks if you would like. Please bring your own: sun hat, sun cream, and swimwear for coastal hikes. Also ensure you bring any necessary medication or inhalers that you might require during the hike.
What to Wear: Suitable footwear, including socks (sports trainers are fine). Anyone wearing unsuitable footwear (such as flip-flops), or no socks, will not be able to hike. Ideally you should wear comfortable, quick-drying sportswear. A jacket or hoodie are recommended for sunset hikes, windy days, or rare cold days! We think black is best!
There are no facilities along this trail, so staying hydrated is critical, especially under the midday sun.
Closed sports trainers with socks are mandatory—avoid flip-flops or sandals to safely navigate rocky, uneven surfaces.
A chance to swim in the clear coastal bay means swimwear and quick-drying clothes are recommended, along with sunscreen and a hat.
Sections of the hike involve steep drops and wind; trekking poles may help less experienced hikers maintain balance.
The northern coast of Ibiza has long supported fishing communities and centuries-old maritime activities, still visible in local huts and traditional anchorage spots.
Ibiza Hike Station promotes sustainable hiking by limiting group sizes and encouraging Leave No Trace principles to protect this sensitive coastal environment.
