You push off from the sandy ramp and the Arabian Gulf immediately answers — a glassy stretch punctuated by wake and sky. From your seat you can see the Burj Al Arab’s sail rise like a modern landmark as water spits from the hull; the jet ski hustles you along the Jumeirah shoreline, wind pushing forward and spray daring you to lean in.

Light — suitable for people who can sit and hold on for an hour; basic balance recommended
No formal experience is required; operators provide a safety briefing and basic instruction before launch, though basic balance and comfort with speed help.
Age and weight limits vary by operator—children usually must be accompanied by an adult and minimum age is often 16 for solo riding; check booking details for specifics.
Optional transfers typically provide door-to-door service from central Dubai hotels; confirm pickup windows and any additional fees at booking.
Operators monitor sea conditions; if conditions are unsafe they may reschedule or cancel with a full refund if cancellation policies apply.
The Jumeirah stretch sits on traditional trade routes and was transformed during Dubai’s rapid coastal development in the late 20th and early 21st centuries.
Stick to marked channels and avoid wake near shallow seabeds; operators should brief riders on minimizing disturbance to marine life and coastal erosion.
