You step out of a comfortable private van as wind pushes across the moor; granite ribs of the Paps of Glencoe loom ahead and the valley seems to hold its breath. The day moves between polished chrome and peat-smelling air: interrupted by the flash of an Aston Martin DB5, then silent stretches of river and ridge where Skyfall filmed its most intimate scenes.
