Ivalo Reindeer Farm is a reindeer farm and visitor experience provider located in Inari, Lappi. The farm offers a variety of reindeer-focused activities that introduce visitors to traditional reindeer herding and Arctic nature.
Experiences include Meet Santa, a private snowmobile sleigh adventure to a secret hideaway for a festive encounter; the Farm visit, a concentrated half-hour opportunity to feed and photograph reindeer in a spacious natural setting (guests are advised to dress warmly and avoid strong scents); Moment with Reindeer, a two-hour program that combines feeding, photography, warm drinks by a teepee fire, storytelling and a chance to try a traditional reindeer lasso; and the Aurora Reindeer Experience, an evening visit to meet a reindeer herder, enjoy warm drinks by the fire and lie back under the stars with a chance to see the northern lights.
Guided by reindeer herders, the farm focuses on respectful, close-up encounters with reindeer in their natural environment.
