This tour will take you to a very special place. Hornby Island is often called the Hawaii of Canada.
The trip will start with a beautiful ferry ride to Denman Island to traverse to Hornby Island. We will then visit town for breakfast and supplies. Top the morning with a hike to the sea cliffs, reminiscing of the cliffs of coastal Europe.
Before lunch, we will visit your choice of Cidery or Meadery for a tasting of locally harvested and crafted libations. The tasting is not mandatory if you do not partake in alcoholic beverages or if you are bringing minors with you, the sites are still beautiful for partial participation, and we can substitute will a kayak rental if the whole group would like to skip.
After lunch, head to the shore for a beautiful white sandy beach and the warm waters of Tribune Bay. There you will be able to swim, volleyball, float on, paddle, catch some rays or explore the tide pools before we catch the last ferry back to Vancouver Island just before dinner.
Kayak and paddle board rentals available at a discount through our partners, call in for details
If you are visiting on a Saturday, we can also make a stop at the farmer’s market for supplies and treasures.
