Visit the capital of the Scottish Highlands, Inverness.
A beautiful town at the mouth of the River Ness and today is one of Europe’s fastest-growing cities.
Your adventure starts when we pick you up.
Upon arrival in Inverness, you will explore this city on foot. Walk along the river, and hear some history, secrets and stories of this fascinating city. The river is the origin of the name Inverness, which is from the Scottish Gaelic: Inbhir Nis, meaning “Mouth of the Ness”—a very peaceful and scenic walk in the heart of the City. Along the way, you will see Inverness Castle and Inverness Cathedral.
Make sure you pick up a souvenir in one of the shops before we travel to Loch Ness, the largest loch by volume in the UK. It is also home to the legendary Loch Ness Monster, also known as “Nessie” by the locals. Then, you will board a boat for a relaxing cruise along Loch Ness to Urquhart Castle.
Step off your boat at Urquhart Castle pier and visit this 13th-century castle—one of Scotland's most iconic picturesque landscapes.
Your tour continues back to Invergrdon via the small village of Beauly. Enjoy the spectacular scenery as you drive back to Invergordon.
