In this relaxed paced class we will cover the basic fundamentals of kayaking such as:
Safety comes first on the river; always keep your PFD securely fastened during your trip.
Hydration and light energy boosts keep you comfortable on the river, especially in summer.
Quick-drying clothes and layers help you stay comfortable if you get wet or if temperatures change.
Practicing forward and reverse strokes beforehand helps you feel more confident once on the water.
