About

Are you ready to explore the underwater world? While snorkeling allows you to peer down at coral reefs, Scuba allows you to fully immerse yourself in a new world! You do not have to be a certified diver to have your first Scuba experience. Discover Scuba Diving is designed to allow the Scuba-curious to see what it’s all about. With a certified PADI instructor at your side, learn the basics of Scuba, practice a few basic skills, and then explore your first dive site! See the vibrant coral reefs and tropical fish up close. Then, eat lunch while you motor to your second dive site. Explore a second underwater habitat and grow even more comfortable scuba diving. Come breathe underwater with us!

Skill Level

Ideal for people who love snorkeling & want to take their exploration of the underwater world deeper! (Age 10+) Participants need to know how to swim, and they must complete the medical questionnaire. This experience is designed for people who are curious about Scuba diving but not ready to pursue a certification. Snorkeling experience is recommended but not necessary. A certified PADI instructor will cover the fundamentals of Scuba on the way to the dive site. Participants will practice the key skills on their first dive and then explore the underwater world. Divers will then dive a second site, allowing them to have a second Scuba experience! Dives will be 20-30ft in depth.

Medical Questionnaire & E-Learning

Minimum health standards are checked through this medical questionnaire: https://learning.padi.com/dsd?store_number=24222

Occasionally, people need a doctor’s note to participate, so please complete it ahead of time. After the questionnaire, participants may complete a short online class from PADI that prepares them for their Discover Scuba Diving experience. This 15-30 minute class allows you to get diving faster and may answer many of your questions about the Scuba experience! We recommend completing this E-learning before the trip, but your PADI instructor will cover everything as well.
