Intrepid 47' Sport Yacht — Naples Charters on the Gulf of Mexico

Stand at the rail of the 47‑ft Intrepid Sport Yacht and the Gulf of Mexico rearranges your expectations about a day on the water. Based at Naples City Dock in Naples, Florida, the Intrepid 47' from Naples Nantucket Yacht Group (NNYG) marries offshore performance with cabin-class comfort, giving groups up to 12 the speed and space to reach Keewaydin Island, adjacent sandbars, and the shimmering blue beyond. Charter options run half-day (4 hours) or full-day (8 hours), with starting rates of $3,600 and $5,700 respectively; reservations are by phone at 239-331-6868. The craft itself is an attention-grabber: a hull tuned for speed, often driven by quad Yamaha 425hp engines that push cruising speeds in the low 40‑knot range and can top near 58 knots for quick hops between Naples’ coastline and offshore gems. Onboard, an air-conditioned helm keeps you cool while panoramic windows maintain ocean views. Two private staterooms and a full head with separate shower make the Intrepid as capable overnight as it is luxurious by day. Expect a mix of high-energy exploration and gentle coastal time. Drop the hull-side dive door and swim off the transom into clear, shallow water. Explore fingered sandbars for wading and shelling, snorkel seagrass flats in search of juvenile fish, or glide through mangrove-fringed passages toward quieter anchorages. NNYG can add Sea‑Doos, paddleboards, seabobs, and snorkel gear to a charter, or arrange a private chef and catered coastal fare for celebrations. The experience is as much local access as it is a boat — a way to see Port Royal’s waterfront homes from the water, to find a quiet shelf of sand for a picnic, or to ride the sunset out beyond Naples' harbor. The crew is U.S. Coast Guard‑licensed and run the charter with a concierge approach that handles provisioning, ground transfers, and itinerary tweaks so your group focuses on the sea. Practical notes: bring a valid driver’s license and one adult 21+ per charter. Fuel for light cruising, ice and water are included; food, alcohol, gratuity, and some add‑ons are extra. Weather can alter plans, so book early in peak season. The yacht accommodates up to 12 guests, with two cabins and a single professional crew member on every charter; the layout balances social deck space with private sleeping quarters for comfort and flexibility during longer trips. Reservations are highly recommended during winter season. Call Naples Nantucket Yacht Group at 239-331-6868 and stage your next Naples day on the water from Naples City Dock.
