Over two hours, you'll master target acquisition, shooting techniques, and malfunction clearances, all while practicing from the holster. Intermediate Handgun class is the next step in training after the Private One-on-One class for anyone who has basic knowledge and understanding of firearms. After learning the basics of grip, stance, sight picture, sight alignment, and trigger control, the student should continue in practice and training to become more comfortable in the skills learned. In this class, the student will be taught how to acquire a target, shoot and follow through. As this class progresses, the student will conclude with exercises in malfunction clearances and the beginning stages of working from the holster.
A valid government-issued photo ID is mandatory for participation; without it, entry is not allowed.
Ear and eye protection are supplied by the range—make sure to wear them at all times on the line.
You can either bring a personal handgun or use one from The Gun Range’s vault with supplied ammo.
Participants must be sober and mentally clear; consumption of alcohol or drugs prior to shooting is strictly prohibited.
