Peculiar sits in Cass County, blending small-town charm with access to rolling landscapes typical of the Midwest. While the area doesn’t feature famed golf courses like some larger metro markets, Peculiar Golf fills that gap by delivering high-quality, tailored instruction designed to maximize each player’s potential in a convenient, welcoming setting.
Instructor Cindy leads sessions that vary from 30 minutes to an hour, accommodating schedules and skill levels—from young beginners taking their first swings to seasoned golfers refining complex mechanics. The lessons emphasize a relaxed yet informative environment, mixing hands-on demonstration with immediate video playback. This method reveals subtle swing flaws and strengths that are often missed during standard instruction.
One of the stand-out elements here is the access to Titleist Pro-V1 balls used in the Trackman launch monitor, ensuring feedback closely mirrors on-course conditions. For families or friends, lessons can be shared, creating a communal learning experience. Rentals for clubs are available, making it an accessible option if you’re traveling light.
Beyond technique, Peculiar Golf encourages players to enjoy the social side of the game with a bar area offering canned cocktails while you review your swing progress or relax after your lesson. This combination of expert instruction, technology, and a friendly atmosphere positions Peculiar Golf as a unique resource for the Missouri outdoor recreation community, making golf instruction approachable, tailored, and effective.
