Located in Sanford, Florida, Decision Tactical’s Underground offers an innovative blend of tactical skill-building and immersive entertainment that sets it apart in the local outdoor recreation scene. Far from your typical shooting range, the Underground delivers a high-energy experience designed to sharpen real-world decision-making under pressure while engaging participants with realistic, dynamic scenarios.
The adventure begins with a thorough handgun safety and handling course. Whether you’re a beginner or revisiting fundamentals, this foundational training ensures everyone gains confidence and control before progressing. From there, the pace picks up as participants enter the Shooting Range Simulator — a standout feature that uses sophisticated simulated firearms to replicate scenarios impossible in traditional ranges. Here, you’ll practice advanced techniques such as angled shooting, drawing from a holster, and firing while turning. This unique combination of training challenges both physical skill and mental agility.
The core attraction of Decision Tactical’s Underground unfolds during three hyper-realistic immersive scenarios. These life-like environments incorporate doors, windows, and obstacles that require sharp spatial awareness and quick judgment. Each scenario tests your ability to differentiate threats from non-threats, balancing use-of-force with de-escalation strategies. Paired with a partner, you’ll develop communication and teamwork skills essential for real-life tactical situations.
Sprinkled throughout the experience are practical lessons in lifesaving measures such as disarming an opponent and applying tourniquets — skills that go beyond simulation to deliver valuable fitness for unexpected emergencies.
After testing your limits in the immersive challenges, the fun continues in the Bar and Grill attached to the facility. Included with your adventure is an entree and choice of drink, or alternatively, a Decision Tactical t-shirt to commemorate your visit.
Sanford’s Decision Tactical Underground stands out as more than just an activity; it’s a focused, exhilarating training ground that caters to all skill levels with an emphasis on safety, education, and entertainment.
