Owned and Operated by Captain Jeff Malone. As the boat name suggests, Captain Jeff has a tremendous passion for catching fishing’s greatest prize–large Florida Keys Tarpon. The heart-pounding world of tarpon fishing is like no other, where adrenaline meets angling in an unforgettable dance of strength and strategy. Tarpon, renowned as the “Silver King” of game fish, commands respect with acrobatic leaps, sheer power, and unmistakable beauty.

In addition to Tarpon fishing, Captain Jeff welcomes you to where the sun-kissed waters and vibrant marine life set the stage for unforgettable family fishing adventures. From the thrill of hooking your first fish to the excitement of reeling in a trophy catch, each moment spent on the water promises excitement, laughter, and a chance to bond with loved ones amidst the beauty of nature.

About The Boat:

The Tarpon Time is a 25 foot Dorado bay boat custom built in Tarpon Springs, Florida.  Equipped with a spacious deck and ample seating, the 25 Dorado offers plenty of room for passengers to relax and enjoy the journey. This vessel is fast, comfortable and stable, and because it rocks very little you never need to worry about getting seasick. With its sleek design it offers an enjoyable ride for all aboard.

Tarpon Time is equipped with first-class fishing gear that is user friendly for anglers of all skill levels.

Tarpon Time specializes in all the shallow waters off the Florida Keys and Everglades National Park. With a knowledgeable Captain that possess a deep understanding of the local ecosystem and the behaviors of its inhabitants.

In addition to Tarpon fishing, I offer a variety of styles of fishing using both fly and spinning tackle. One of my favorite activities is taking the kids out to bend the rod on Snapper, Jacks and Barracudas, and to help them get better acquainted with the basic saltwater fishing techniques in the process. I also love the challenge of stalking the flats for Bonefish and Permit, and running into the backcountry waters of Florida Bay to catch Snook, Redfish, Speckled Trout, Sharks and more.
