Located inside and behind the Jordan's Furniture store in New Haven, Connecticut, It Adventure Ropes Course offers a unique indoor climbing and zip-line experience that caters to thrill-seekers of all ages. This multi-level ropes course features four distinct climbing levels with increasingly challenging obstacles, including a series of zip-lines and connecting walkways that add an exhilarating twist to the traditional ropes course. What sets this venue apart in the Southern New England region is its innovative harness system, which allows participants to clip on once at the start and moves with them throughout the entire course. This safety feature simplifies the experience, especially for families and group outings.
The facility accommodates a broad age range, from children to adults, with a dedicated small-course area designed specifically for younger climbers. This inclusivity makes it a favorite for families, school groups, and corporate team-building events looking to combine excitement with safety and fun. Adequate free parking and complimentary lockers enhance convenience, allowing guests to fully enjoy their time without worrying about belongings.
The design blends challenge and accessibility, with obstacles that vary in difficulty so both beginners and experienced climbers can enjoy the course. The indoor setting makes it a year-round destination, especially valuable in Connecticut's variable climate. While there is a food area visible on site, it is not always operational, though vending machines are available. Visitors have noted this as the only minor drawback in an otherwise outstanding experience.
