Nestled in a serene woodland, this tent-only site offers eight secluded spots with essential amenities. Enjoy a peaceful retreat with family or friends, surrounded by nature, while creating unforgettable memories under the stars.

About

This tent campground, named in honor of pioneer naturalist William Bartram, features eight secluded woodland sites adjacent to our Apalachee RV campground. Each is equipped with water, electrical power, a fire ring and picnic table. A restroom is located in the parking area. Suitable for tents only; no pop-ups allowed. Parking is NOT ALLOWED on campsite; use adjacent parking area ca. 50 feet from campsites. Up to two vehicles per site rental maximum.

No horse trailers are allowed in the Bartram Campground.

Reservations include fees for up to 4 people. All additional campers are $5 each per night for guests age 6 and up. Eight people maximum per site. Maximum of 3 tents per site.

Maximum 5 nights stay.

Reservations for the first night are non-refundable. In the event of an advance cancellation the entirety of your balance may be applied to any other park facility rental, service, or merchandise for up to a year from the original rental date. Cancellations after the rental period begins are not eligible for refunds.

A campsite suitable to your equipment and/or vehicle will be assigned by the admissions officer upon registration.

Normal check-in is between 1 PM and 7 PM; late check-in 7-9 PM. Park gate closes at 9 PM and only checked-in guests will have access to current gate code. Check out is 11 AM

The minimum age to rent a campsite or camping facility is 18. No camping by minors under the age of 18 is allowed unless accompanied by an adult (21 or over) throughout the camping period.

Failure to properly dispose of trash at departure or damage to property will result in a minimum $50 damage fee.

Adventure Tips

Arrive before dark

Check-in is from 1 PM to 7 PM; arriving early ensures trouble-free setup and access before the park gate closes at 9 PM.

Use designated parking

Parking is not allowed on campsites; use the nearby parking area about 50 feet from your site to keep the campground peaceful and accessible.

Respect quiet hours

Keep noise levels low in the evening to maintain the tranquility of Bartram Campground for all guests.

Pack out your trash

Properly dispose of all waste to avoid damage fees and protect the natural environment surrounding the campground.
