The sun dips behind pagoda roofs and the surface of West Lake turns to ink; lanterns spark along the promenade and a low murmur rises from the crowd as performers take their places on the water’s edge. At 19:30 the lights pull focus and the show begins — song, opera, dance and staged tableaux using the lake itself as stagecraft. The setting is immediate: the crowd faces Yue Fei Temple and the western shore, while boats and projection lighting shape sightlines across the water.

Collect tickets after 18:00 at the ticket office opposite Yue Fei Temple (address: 82 Beishan Road). Bring the same ID used when booking.
Tickets cannot be changed or cancelled after issuance; for a full refund cancel at least 24 hours before the show. If the show is stopped for severe weather, a full refund is issued.
Seats are allocated randomly at ticket pickup—arrive early to improve sightlines, or choose a standing spot on nearby promenades where allowed.
