Jonio Pro-Dive is a dive operator based in Catania, Sicilia, offering a range of scuba courses, guided dives and boat tours. The center delivers PADI training including the Open Water Diver course and Discover Scuba Diving introductions, led by PADI-certified instructors who guide students through skills, safety procedures and confined-water practice. Jonio Pro-Dive operates from a private access bay with a ladder for direct water entry, providing convenient and secure launch points for shore and center-based dives.
Boat-based experiences include guided gommone (RIB) tours along the Ionian Coast, with swimming and snorkeling stops at the Grottte di Ulisse and the Faraglioni within the protected marine area of Isole Ciclopi. The center runs guided dives from the gommone to sites reachable only by boat, and offers single and double-dive options from the diving center for certified divers and beginners under supervision.
Beginners can try a Scuba Experience — a supervised introductory dive to about five meters in a bay formed by ancient lava flows — with post-dive amenities such as hot showers and a private swimming area. Night diving sessions are available every Thursday and by request on other days, tailored to diver skill level and weather conditions.
Jonio Pro-Dive emphasizes safety, certified instruction and bilingual guiding where noted. The program list includes Open Water Diver PADI, DISCOVER SCUBA DIVING (one or two dives), guided boat dives, single and double dives from the center, scuba experiences and night dives in the Catania area. Equipment rental and tank fills are available on-site.
