8 Weeks 30 Minute sessions
Skaters continue to learn how to manipulate their direction while skating on one foot both forwards and backwards. They will begin to learn how to change directions from forward to backward while maintaining momentum
We have a fully stocked skate shop…so no need to panic if you forget your socks or gloves! Better still, we also have a cosy coffee shop so if you’re beginning to feel the cold, you can enjoy a hot drink and food, whilst you sit back, relax and view all the fast-paced action on the ice!
Our rinks maintain an air temperature of 10C so warm layers are a must! An insulated rain jacket will keep you warm and dry, and be sure to bring long socks. We strongly recommend that young skaters wear a well-fitted bike, ice hockey or ski helmet.
Dress in comfortable layers to stay warm inside the rink and adjust as needed.
Book your sessions early to secure your preferred times during peak seasons.
Wear knee and elbow pads, especially if you're new to skating or practicing tricks.
Get comfortable on your skates and warm up at least 15 minutes before your lesson.
