My name is Sam Hochevar and I am a Colorado native who grew up fishing in Grand County. I have a passion for fishing and love to fish all year round. I am an experienced fishing guide and I have guided for Fishing with Bernie for over 6 years. I do trips on Granby, Grand Lake and Williams Fork reservoir both in the boat and on the ice. Trips can be tailored to your preferences, whether that is going out to see how many fish we can catch or chasing trophy lake trout all day. I pride myself on providing quality instruction, knowledge and tips and tricks. I want my trips to be a memorable experience for all guests of all fishing levels and ages. When I am not on the water I enjoy creating custom jigs and lures and spending time with my family and dogs Lola and Teddy.
