About - Please arrive 15 minutes prior to departure to allow time for loading as the boat departs as scheduled.
Enjoy a day at your own secluded beach. Pick up a beach towel and sunscreen from the Towel Depot located on the pool deck and grab a snack and beverages (no glass containers please) from Cool Beans Café and Market. Boats depart from the marina located just a short walk down the boardwalk.
Please note-Glass containers are not allowed on the beach and smoking is permitted in designated areas only. Bluetooth Speakers, Radios, CD players, amplifiers or other music-playing devices are only allowed with headphones or ear buds. Chairs and umbrellas are available weather permitting. Big Hickory Island is a protected conservation area for shorebirds, Loggerhead Sea turtles and other indigenous vegetation. Conservation Rangers will be able to answer all your eco-questions.
Schedule changes may occur due to tidal levels or extreme weather conditions. Please confirm daily departure times at the Excursions Desk located in the lobby of the Resort.
