Driving a team of huskies over the white, shimmering fells is an experience that is almost mandatory during a trip to Lapland. The eager dogs run at full speed and the sleigh glides effortlessly over the snowdrifts with the skids hissing softly. The lead dog turns to look at you at a crossroads – right of left? Mush!
The husky safari starts nearby the resort and takes you on a fast-paced trip over the untouched snow of the fells and the forests surrounding the Northern Lights Village. This is an experience that you will never forget!
Note: We have two-person sleighs. Each sleigh is ridden by one of the guests. However, during early winter and when there's little snow, seats will be available in sleigh ridden by the guide, instead.
Thermal clothing is provided, but wearing moisture-wicking base layers will keep you most comfortable on the safari.
Listening to safety and handling tips ensures a smooth sledding experience with the energetic huskies.
