You begin on two wheels with the Perfume River at your left, a slow ribbon of brown water that pushes the boat traffic toward the city. Early light hits the tiled roofs and the seven-story octagonal tower of Thiên Mụ Pagoda as your guide steers you along a quiet riverside lane.
