About

This tour covers over 200 square kilometers, and travels 2,000ft above sea level. The spectacular Howe Sound is a deep water fjord that flows into the Pacific via the Strait of Georgia. You'll see jagged mountain peaks, ancient glaciers, and tiny islands throughout the Sound. Eagles, seals, sea lions, orca and humpback whales all call the Howe Sound their home. The famous turquoise water (most vibrant in the Spring and Fall) is caused my glacial flour that runs down the mountainsides via the valley's many waterfalls.

Our pilots are passionate about the Howe Sound, its restoration and the diverse marine ecosystem it supports. They’re a wealth of knowledge and are full of information about the awesome things you’ll see. Chat with your pilot via your personal two-way headset or simply sit back and enjoy the view.

Things to Know

  • Flying in our aircraft is just like driving in a car, with ventilation and heating control.
  • Simply dress for the season and sunglasses are recommended.
  • All ages can participate in a flight. Children up to 2 years old are considered infants, and must sit on the lap of a responsible guardian. Children older than 2 must have their own seat in the aircraft.
  • Each of our aircraft fit 3 passengers. The views are amazing, so we opted to keep our planes small and the experience intimate. You can get a nearly 360º view, and everyone gets a window!
