Trinity Hot Springs gets it’s beneficial minerals, including high levels of naturally occurring silica and fluoride, on it’s rise through a crystal-lined granite batholith from 2.2 miles below the surface – the deepest known source of water on earth. The absence of tritium, a product of fallout from nuclear testing in the 1940s, indicates its unusual isolation from surface waters and any other potential contaminants other spring waters may carry. Carbon dating places this unique water in historical significance as the ‘oldest known water from the deepest known source’ having been over 16,000 years since it has been near the surface affording it a unique ancient purity.
At its deepest source it is heated to a temperature of over 300 degrees Fahrenheit. It arrives at the surface at approximately 135 degrees and the Pool temperature varies seasonally and daily with outdoor temperature fluxuations; typically ranging from 95-108 degrees in the Summer / 90-95 degrees in the Winter… comfortable year round!
