Host a Private Farm Party at Pure Passions Farm in Kent, Ohio

Pure Passions Farm sits at 7679 Seasons Rd in Kent, Ohio, a working hobby farm turned private-event destination that invites families and groups to claim the whole property for three hours of celebration. Book the "Private Parties" option and the farm closes to the public, giving you unlimited access to paddocks, play areas, photo-ready corners, and a fairy garden that feels deliberately small-but photogenic at the edge of the property. The package centers on three hours of exclusive use (with add-on time available). Included are 10 buckets of animal feed for hands-on interaction with goats, chickens, and other small stock; picnic-table seating; two black-clothed tables; and access to a half basketball court and onsite playground. For warm-weather gatherings you’ll be under the pavilion that seats 100; when the thermometer drops the heated barn holds up to 45 guests. The farm also provides a Luxury Double Rest Room Trailer (listed at an $850 value) and a custom digital invite to streamline planning. Practical details are straightforward: the farm’s closed-to-public option costs $599, parking holds about 45 cars, and there’s no formal cap on attendance beyond that parking constraint. Additional time is priced at $100 per 30 minutes. Within 48 hours of requesting a date you’ll get a confirmation email or alternative options; securing the date requires a 50% non-refundable deposit paid through the farm’s QuickBooks invoice, with the balance due day-of. Pure Passions Farm stands out in the Kent outdoor scene because it translates rural acreage into a managed, low-stress event playground - part petting barn, part family festival site - without the logistics of renting separate facilities. The variety of on-site backdrops - pavilion, heated barn, fairy garden, animal pens - makes the farm uniquely efficient for mixed-age groups and photographers looking for varied light and texture without driving between locations. Bring sturdy shoes for uneven grassy areas, a cooler for food, and a plan for parking logistics if your guest list is large. For hosts who want a hands-off celebration, the built-in restroom trailer and covered pavilion reduce the usual family-party headaches. Whether it’s a birthday, reunion, or community milestone, this booking turns a rural slice of Kent into an intimate festival ground where animals, kids, and guests can mingle with minimal fuss. Photographers will find layered compositions from sunlit hay bales to weathered barn siding; kids gravitate toward the fairy garden and playground while adults appreciate the pavilion's shade and room to spread out. Hosts bring pop-up canopies, catered trays, and lawn games; vendors can drop deliveries at the listed meeting point: Pure Passions Farm — 7679 Seasons Rd, Kent, OH 44240. Note that restocking animal feed or staff-led activities may require advance request; include these needs when you confirm your date so the farm can prepare.
