The horses pick their way along a flat desert bench as wind tugs at sandstone fins and the mouth of a narrow slot canyon yawns ahead. You mount from a sun-warmed corral, exchange a few instructions with an experienced guide, and move into a quieter seam of East Zion where the crowd thins and the rocks start to whisper.

The operator enforces a strict 220 lb (100 kg) maximum per rider for safety and horseback handling reasons.
