Ages 6+ • 6 Group Lessons
If you are a beginner student who has taken Beginning Horsemanship or have had previous riding lessons, then this class if for you! You will groom and tack a horse in a small group. Instruction is in English or Western riding techniques while on the horse and by observing classmates. Safety is a first priority, that’s why you must wear long pants and hard-soled shoes. A riding helmet is mandatory and will be provided. Please make sure you have your permission/release Form on file with Sunset Trails.
The lessons will take place for the five consecutive Mondays/Tuesdays after the initial lesson date.
Six one-hour lessons – $239 Mondays at 6:00 p.m. Tuesdays at 7:00 p.m.
Ensure kids wear closed-toe shoes with good grip for safety during grooming and riding.
Getting there ahead of time allows for a relaxed start and gear preparation.
Dress appropriately and prepare for seasonal changes for comfort and safety.
Ask questions and listen to safety instructions for a successful experience.
