You climb into the saddle as the high desert opens beneath a wall of granite—sagebrush rolls away and a cold stream dares you to follow its glint. The guide clicks the reins and your group moves out along a ribbon of singletrack that threads meadows, pine stands and wind-scoured plateaus, each vista revealing a different face of the Sierra Nevada.

The guided loop is about three hours total at a moderate pace with frequent stops for photos and brief rests.
No advanced experience required, but riders should be comfortable sitting a trot and following directions from the guide.
