About

How about feeling part of Robin Hood’s crew? The view of the forest from the back of a horse is just delightful! Enjoy all the different shades of the leaves only to the sound of your horse’s hoofbeats.

You’ll have the chance to meet a Garrano pony, that the Celts brought all the way from the Asian Steppes – its name originated from the Proto-Celtic word Gearran.

The tour continues, now in a contemporary fashion – back to our SUV -, through the forests and hills of Gerês, discovering everything it has to offer: amazing landscapes, inviting waterfalls, peaceful animals grazing…

This tour allows you to experience the natural wonders and ancient cultural heritage of the Peneda-Gerês National Park and relax on fresh waters of a waterfall or hot springs.

The horseback riding tour in Gerês is the perfect outdoor activity for a family and first time riders!
