Description

Hacienda Doña Engracia offers horseback riding in the foothills of the Mountains with panoramic views of the countryside and its village daily life surroundings. We will match you with a horse that suits your ability. Immerse yourself in the tranquility of the country side and its beauty riding along the Mascota river viewing local scenery and vegetation. Bring your swimsuit if river conditions permit, you may enjoy a short swim with your horse. Your guide will take photos of you along the way with your camera if you wish. At the end of the tour you will satisfy your appetite with a traditional Mexican lunch and with an open bar the hacienda. (margaritas, beer, tequila)

We will then continue to taste three types of Tequilas (Blanco, Añejo and Reposado) along with 3 liquors which are made at the Hacienda. You will also be shown the process of tequila making and the Agave plants. You will learn how to properly taste Tequila and recognize what makes a good tequila. You can enjoy some free time to explore the Hacienda before returning. So, come and have some fun! At certain times of the year on raining season you won’t be able to swim with your horse for safety reasons.
