Horseback at Hacienda Campo Rico: Group Ride, Photos & Lake Views

At Hacienda Campo Rico, just outside Carolina, Puerto Rico, a short loop of sandy tracks, shade trees, and open pasture frames a horseback ride built for friends. SQUAD 3 - Horseback is a compact, three-rider package that turns a brief outing into a set of curated memories: action-camera footage captured from your group, staged photo stops at the Mi Casa exterior and the colonial fountain, and a slow, camera-friendly passage along the estate's small lake. The whole experience lasts about an hour to two, and your edited photos and video arrive in your inbox within 48–72 hours. The estate itself feels like an outdoors classroom—wide riding lanes, low rolling berms, and a mix of palm and grassy pasture rather than steep mountain trails. Key features on the route include the Mi Casa facade (a colorful, colonial-style building used as a visual anchor), a formal colonial fountain that makes an elegant mid-ride portrait spot, and a placid freshwater lake that reflects late-afternoon light. Natural elements are simple but distinct: tropical coastal lowlands punctuated by palms, pasture grasses, and the soft chorus of coqui frogs at dusk. This package is designed for people who want group photos and shared video without the fuss of single bookings. The pricing favors threesomes, offering savings compared with booking solo packages, and the itinerary keeps phones off the saddle so the group carries an action camera for authentic, hands-free footage. Guides stage a few scenic stops for posed shots and capture candid riding moments across open pasture. Practicalities matter: the route is not technical, but solid shoes and long pants make the ride more comfortable. Riders of varying experience can usually participate under guide supervision; the pace is relaxed and focused on photo opportunities rather than speed. The program's short duration and small group size make it a good add-on to a day of beach or Old San Juan sightseeing. Local flavor comes from the estate's history as a working agricultural property adapted for recreation; reminders of that past appear in fences, corrals, and the estate's layout. Conservation-minded visitors should follow guide instructions about staying on designated lanes, leaving no trace, and respecting stable rules. For photographers, golden hour lighting over the lake and the Mi Casa facade produces the most striking images. Booking is straightforward through the provider's reservation system; plan to arrive 15–20 minutes early for a brief orientation, tack adjustments, and a safety talk before mounting. Riders should disclose any mobility constraints, pregnancy, or medical conditions when booking so guides can match horses appropriately.
