Yes when elevators are operational. The Hoover Dam is federally managed and elevator closures can occur without notice, so interior access can’t be guaranteed until arrival.
Top-walk and viewpoints have restricted sections; the Visitor Center has accessible exhibits, but access to all areas and elevators varies — check with the operator about specific mobility needs before booking.
A sit-down hot lunch and bottled water are included; inform the operator ahead of time about dietary restrictions so they can accommodate requests where possible.
Completed in 1936, Hoover Dam was a massive federal project that provided jobs during the Great Depression and created Lake Mead, radically changing water and power distribution in the Southwest.
Lake Mead and regional water supplies face long-term stress from drought; visitors are encouraged to use water responsibly and follow Leave No Trace principles around sensitive desert habitats.
