The VIP Tour is a unique opportunity that allows participants to see additional sites and spend some time on the famous Boulder Highway. The history of Boulder City is inextricably linked to the construction of the Hoover Dam. During that period (times of great depression, when finding a job, especially the well-paid one was a really demanding task) workers had to live inside the gated town. The Boulder Highway was the main artery which led from downtown Las Vegas and the Railroad to the Hoover Dam construction site. Since the workers were lucky to generate sufficient income soon an urge to spend money for some fun emerged among them. This need changed the facet of the Boulder Highway. Bars, nightclubs, turf clubs, casinos, hotels, and the original roadhouses were brought to life in an effort to attract the workers and their money. And many of them still shine with classic neon signs (and not only with them).

There is no motorcycle license needed, and these automatic trikes or Slingshots are very easy to ride. You’ll see this famous destination from a different perspective as you ride past iconic sights such as the engineering marvel of Hoover Dam, beautiful Lake Mead, historic Boulder City, and the Mike O'Callaghan-Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge.

With no motorcycle license needed, these trikes or Slingshots are automatic and the extra wheels help you feel safe while you embark on this exhilarating adventure—a unique and exciting way to see Hoover Dam and create life-long memories. The tour is approximately three hours in total, on the trike or Slingshot (including practice time).

You will be picked up at select hotels on the Las Vegas Strip. You will then be transported by van or minibus to Boulder City – your starting point. After a short safety briefing and practice session, get ready for a fun and thrilling time as you take control of your very own trike or Slingshot!

Guided Tours:

On the tour, you will ride and stop at the historic Hoover Dam, where you will have time to explore the Dam on your own terms. There is no better way to get to the Dam than on an exhilarating trike ride! Tour option is 3 hours in total on the trike (including practice time). Designated stops for quick breaks, pictures and sharing information are provided.

Valid for up to two (2) passengers per vehicle with a combined weight of 400 pounds. Slingshot has no weight limit If you wish to drive your own trike or exceed the combined weight limits, you must make a separate booking.
