Boater's License

We encourage you to have a NJ boater safety certificate when renting our boats, however one is not required. If you do not have a NJ boater safety certificate you must complete a pre-rental boater safety instructional course offered at our marina before your rental.

What to bring

  • Valid U.S. driver's license
  • We do not rent fishing/crabbing gear, but you are welcome to bring your own.
  • Not all boats have coolers, you may bring your own.
  • We do not have Captains on staff, but we can provide contacts by request.

Important Information

  • This boat holds 8 people
  • All life jackets and safety equipment is included in the rental price. Fuel is not included; You pay for the fuel you use (typically $50-$100).
  • We require a credit card on file too book a reservation, it will be used to cover any damages, fuel charges, excessive cleaning ($50), or late arrivals back to the dock ($200/hr. minimum 1 hour). Any reservations made have a 2 day cancellation policy.
  • The renter is responsible for the care of the vessel and safety of the passengers.
  • Area of navigation is based on the renter's experience level, boating ability, and knowledge of the local area.
  • Renter must be 25 years or older
  • No nighttime navigation
  • No alcohol or drugs
  • No tow sports
