Duration

Approximately 24-30 hours long. Start time approx. 10:00 am on first day and returning to the harbor the following day as early as 11:00 am and as late at 4 pm.


About

Come on the adventure of a lifetime! Take an overnight fishing charter out in the beautiful Kachemak Bay and Gulf of Alaska. This is a long -range trip traveling 60-100 miles out of Homer, Alaska boat Harbor. The FV/Double Down has comfortable sleeping quarters throughout the boat. Sleeping arrangements are 8 bunks and 2 dinettes that fold down for sleeping. Not everyone will sleep at the same time, in fact we encourage you to fish throughout the night if possible. This is a hardcore fishing excursion that is all about catching as much of your limit as possible. The more you are fishing, the sooner we can get back into the harbor the following day. Can comfortably sleep up to 12 passengers at a time. Overnight trips are available starting the beginning of June- September 1. We will be fishing for up to 4 species which include halibut, lingcod (after July 1st), yelloweye, pacific cod, and black rock-fish. Salmon trolling will be included as long as weather and time permit. Double limits on all species.

All meals are catered and included with your charter. -Meals are pre-planned and cannot be changed. -If you have any food allergies or special diets, please be prepared to provide your own meals accordingly. Fresh sleeping bags and pillows are available for use.

LIMITS PER DAY: 2 Halibut- one any size/one under 28" (could change year to year) 3 Rockfish (one being a yelloweye) Up to 2 lingcod depending on area fished 1-3 salmon depending on species

Meals are provided, but you are welcome to bring any additional snacks you may want. We do NOT provide soda, beer, or any other types of drinks.

  • Sleeping bag/blanket and pillow (if you prefer to use your own)
  • Fishing license (either a signed copy or electronic as long as it is signed) Please stay updated on regulations as they can change yearly.
