WHAT THE EXPERIENCE WILL BE LIKE... ROSE Therapeutic Farm Camps are an exciting way to light up any young person’s summer. Our camps provide unique, hands-on opportunities for learning, growth, and fun. Campers spend their time here immersed in the natural world, with animals and the environment. Each camp is loaded with creative, enriching activities meant to help your kiddos connect with nature and learn how to enjoy ""the simple life"".

Our camps are geared toward children ages 5-13 Campers will be divided into groups that are age appropriate, however siblings and friends can remain together.

We have so many new animals for the kids to meet! 🫏 Oliver the mini Donkey 🐮 Maple the Highland Cow 🐴 Ranger the mini pony 🦆 Herman the adorable Ducky 🐏 Perry the precious sheep 🐰 Baby & Cookie the Bunnies And all the other friendly farm animals!

Morning Activities

Each day will bring something a little bit different, just like life on a ranch. But each day will start with tending to the animals.

  • Preparing and feeding all of the animals their morning meal of hay, grain, seed and veggies!
  • Collecting all of the egg the chickens laid the night before.
  • Checking to make sure everyone has fresh water and clean bedding.
  • Grooming and snuggles

Special Educational Animal Activity

Each day we will spend time focusing on a different farm animal learning about what their purposes are a farm, what they need to grow and thrive and how we care for them.

  • Monday, December 30th - Cows & Cookies
  • Tuesday, December 31st - Goats, Goats, Goats!!!
  • Thursday, January 2nd - Chickens, Geese & Ducks
  • Friday, January 3rd - Mini Ponies, Donkeys & Sheep

Educational Activity, Game or Craft

Each day we will explore different aspects of farm living and animal husbandry through an educational, game, craft or activity. These are examples of some of the things we will be doing :)

  • Monday - Decorating Christmas Cookies
  • Tuesday - Making homemade treats for the goats!
  • Thursday - Painting Bird Houses!
  • Friday - Farm Field Day - Lots of Games and Silly Challenges

Adventure Tips

Wear Comfortable, Durable Shoes

Closed-toe shoes or boots are essential for ensuring safety around animals and farm equipment.

Bring Sun Protection

Apply sunscreen and bring a wide-brimmed hat for kids, as much of the camp activities take place outdoors.

Make sure all belongings are clearly labeled to help keep track of your child’s items during busy camp days.
