Read the full experience

You step off an air-conditioned coach into a pocket of rolling Waikato farmland and the ordinary world shifts: round doors, smoke-worn chimneys and the Green Dragon’s low eaves appear as if they’ve grown from the hill itself. The path through Bagshot Row curves past manicured lawns and planted hedgerows; sheep graze and the countryside breathes slow and green.
