Travel to Salem’s downtown, waterfront, and McIntire Historic District, which contains one of America’s most beautiful streets. Learn about Salem’s colonial witchcraft trials, maritime years, Nathaniel Hawthorne, Salem’s connection to the Amistad, and Salem’s present-day. Enjoy 37 carefully chosen narrated stops complete with historical photos that will bring Salem to life, right before your eyes. The tour route is approx 2 1/2 miles. Please allow a minimum of 2 hours to complete the tour, but may take longer depending on the time of your visit, vehicle, foot traffic, and your walking pace.
