Let us be your guide to 150 plus years of railroad history. See both floors of the museum and follow the Union Pacific Railroad from its founding in 1862, through building the transcontinental railroad, the golden age of passenger travel, all the way to the railroad today. Students get the chance to touch approved artifacts throughout the tour. Artifacts include arrows, smaller pieces of rail and rail spikes, a couple of lanterns/pocket watches, and even a Bison hide!
Train rides can be cool, especially on open-platform cars, so dress in layers.
Get a good seat and tour the museum before departure.
