Visit previously inaccessible areas of the Colosseum on this Colosseum Underground and Roman Forum tour. Our extra-special access will take you to places where visitors with a regular ticket are not allowed. Follow your expert, licensed guide as you explore the iconic amphitheater and venture through its underground passageways to reach areas that haven't been seen since antiquity.

Your Colosseum Underground tour starts from the Gladiator's Gate: we will step right onto the Arena Floor from where we will enjoy a view of the entire arena from a Gladiator's point of view. Next, the VIP gates will be unlocked just for our group to reach the Underground section.

Your comprehensive tour of ancient Rome doesn't stop here. After exploring the Colosseum, we'll cross over into the Roman Forum, approaching from the ancient city's main artery: the Via Sacra (the Sacred Road). The Roman Forum was the epicenter of the political and cultural goings-on of the Roman Empire. This is the spot where Julius Caesar was cremated, where Mark Anthony gave his infamous funerary speech, and where the beautiful and mysterious vestal virgins worked day and night to keep the flame burning for the Goddess Vestal at the temple.
