Résumé : 2 août 1914. Jour de la mobilisation générale. Tous les hommes de la Chapelle-St-Florent viennent d’être réquisitionnés pour partir au front. Eugénie Bouin, une jeune habitante du village, doit prendre le relais de son frère Joseph, meunier, parti au front. Celui-ci lui a laissé des instructions pour qu’elle puisse faire fonctionner le moulin de l’Epinay en son absence. Lors de sa première nuit dans le moulin, elle aperçoit au loin une troupe allemande ! Eugénie doit fuir au plus vite pour prévenir le reste de sa famille et les habitants. Arriverez vous à vous échapper de ces ravisseurs ?
