About This Adventure

Narrated Tours

  • Join us as we celebrate our 32nd season along the shores of Providence! 
  • Come discover the historic and contemporary milestones of the Providence waterways while aboard our open-air vessels.
  • Together, we will explore the Providence River, Riverwalk, Waterplace Park, the Fox Point Hurricane Barrier and the Providence Industrial Harbor, where we will highlight historical, nautical and architectural points of interest.

Additional Information:

  • We are located inside The Landing at 101 Dyer Street in downtown Providence.
  • All tours are by reservation, please reserve seats prior to arriving.
  • Certified service dogs are permitted aboard. Pets are not.

Tour Cancellation Policy:

  • Customers may reschedule (subject to availability) or receive a full refund with 48 hours advance notice ONLY. To cancel your reservation, please contact us by telephone at 401-580-2628 or email us at info@providenceriverboat.com.
  • Cancellations inside of 48 hours, no-shows and late arrivals are not exchangeable or refundable.
  • We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel tours when less than 4 passengers have booked. It doesn't happen often, but we will call you ASAP if it does.
  • All of our tours typically run in light rain and other moderate weather conditions. We do not cancel tours due to inclement weather until approximately 30 minutes prior to departure, as the weather changes so quickly in New England.
  • If we do cancel your tour due to weather, you may reschedule (subject to availability) or receive a full refund.
  • We reserve the right to cancel our tours in the event of severe or unsafe weather conditions.
