The period Antebellum Rooms are housed in the circa 1818 Main House proper. Each is furnished with exquisite antiques, high ceilings and some furniture pieces are original to the Quitman family who owned the estate for nearly a century. An exacting restoration returned the house to its original splendor, and each room has been thoughtfully updated with luxurious amenities. These rooms are located on the second floor of the Main House and are accessed by stairs and located above our Restaurant 1818 and the Quitman Lounge and Study. For those who prefer to retire early in the evening, please keep in mind the lower floor areas are in operation during the evening hours until approximately 10:00 PM.
