Embark on a journey down historic Baltimore Street, heading south toward the Union position on Cemetery Hill (without entering NPS property). Discover stories of the sacred battleground and explore haunted town sites. Learn about the "Witness Trees," the story of Jennie Wade (the only civilian casualty of the battle), and the paranormal events tied to the area. The tour includes tales of the Historic Farnsworth House, believed to be the origin of the fatal shot that claimed Jennie Wade's life, and offers access to the haunted cellar, designed as a Victorian Viewing Parlor.
As a fully operational Bed and Breakfast and restaurant, access to areas within the historic main house may vary and is subject to change.
For the comfort of all guests, vaping and smoking (of any kind) are not permitted. Guests who appear visibly intoxicated will be asked to leave the tour.
Please note: While a competitor may offer a "Farnsworth House" tour, we are the ONLY authentic Farnsworth House tour with exclusive access to the Historic Inn. Why just pass by when you can actually step inside? Don’t settle for secondhand stories—come in and experience it yourself!
