Experience an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour at the Kiboko River Station in Gulf Breeze Zoo. Meet and feed Nile hippos, the world's third-largest land mammals, while learning about their care and conservation efforts from dedicated specialists. It's official; the wait is finally over! Now is your chance to go behind-the-scenes at the new Kiboko River Station at the Gulf Breeze Zoo. Enjoy exclusive access to our Hippo habitat, where our dedicated animal care specialists will introduce guests to our two Nile hippos, the world's third-largest land mammal, and share specifics about their daily routines, care, training, unique behaviors, and diets. Guests will enjoy feeding the hippos under the watchful eye of our animal care specialist while learning about active conservation efforts in the wild to protect them.
Tickets are $50 per participant. Now available online and at the main entrance.
The minimum age is six (6), and a paying adult must accompany children between ages 6 and 12
Encounters occur once daily at 12:00pm. Reservation strongly recommended.
