A hike in the woods of Maine is traveling into tranquility, where one can find peace and rejuvenation as well as wonder an awe of the majestic landscape. The Mahoosuc range, as well as plentiful smaller mountains and hills around Bethel, offer fabulous hiking no matter the season. We will tailor your adventure to your goal, whether it be a nature stroll, birdwatching, a challenging climb, scenic views, or simply an immersion in nature.

Country Nature Stroll

Enjoy an easy walk through nature observing birds, mushrooms, river or hillside views. Learn about the history of the Bethel area and the changes that have happened over the years. You can choose your pace and experience level and we will customize the adventure to your desires. (2 or 4 hour tour)

Scenic View Hike

Let us guide you to one of our favorite scenic spots. Views of rivers, the Mahoosuc Range, and the White Mountains are fantastic. You can choose your pace and experience level and we will customize the adventure to your desires. (2 or 4 hour tour)

Custom Hike

Explore longer lengths of the Mahoosuc Mountains and/or lesser known routes. Skip the apps and “best of” lists and go with a Maine Guide who knows where and when to go. If bushwhacking and off trail navigation interest you, consider a thru-hike of our gorgeous backcountry. Your guide will reach out to you for planning this special adventure. Alternate start times may be available. (6 hour tour)

Sunrise, Sunset, & Star Gazing

Weather in the Mahoosuc Range can change quickly, so bring moisture-wicking layers and a waterproof jacket.

Bring Plenty of Water

Hydration is key, especially on longer tours—carry at least 2 liters per person.

Prepare for Uneven Terrain

Good hiking boots with ankle support help navigate rocky and sometimes muddy paths safely.

Use Bug Repellent

In warmer months, mosquitoes and black flies are abundant—apply repellent before heading out.
